The Net Assist team just keeps on growing!

Net Assist is proud to announce the arrival of it’s newest member; Christina Giliberti.
Christina joins the company from the UK, where she worked predominantly within the travel industry, specializing in online marketing. Christina has worked in previous positions with Monarch Airlines, Thomsonfly and Gossard.
Already holding a Marketing Certificate and Internet Webmasters, Christina is also studying towards an honours open degree with an emphasis on Marketing and Business.
Christina takes up the newly appointed position of ‘Marketing & PR Executive’ within the team, closely following Maria Murphy who joined the company in May, which lifts the team to six.  When quizzed about her new role, she smiles, “This role is an amazing find, a chance for me to grow with the company and work with some of the most prestigious hotels in Ireland.”

The Net assist office based in West Cork, has truly found it’s feet as the internet age flourishes and opens up a multitude of web based opportunities.   Working with over 30 hotels in Ireland Net Assist offers a complete internet based service for hotels; including consultation, competitive analysis and rate housekeeping.  Sandra together with an experienced team of ex-hotel professionals offers a comprehensive support service to independent and group hotels with such clients as the new deluxe Lyrath Estate Hotel, Spa & Convention Centre in Kilkenny and Killarney’s 5 star Aghadoe Heights Hotel.

The abundance of business and considerable growth has given the company a real boost and acknowledges the need for such a niche and unique service.  According to Sandra Maybury, Net Assist’s Managing Director “The hotel industry is a demanding one. irrespective of season, hotels are under pressure to sell as many rooms as possible. Net Assist enables hotels to showcase their hotel with numerous booking engines.”

Recent statistics state that more than 50% of us used the internet in 2006, online bookings account for 82% of business within the travel sector. Online expenditure is on the up, with search engine Marketing being the front runner in the effectively stakes.
