Net Assist hit the Burlington for this year’s HSMAI Awards

Net Assist was honoured to be chosen as finalists for this year’s HSMAI Best Marketing Innovation or Innovator Award. After much anticipation, when the shortlist was announced, it was agreed that Sandra Maybury, Edel O Donovan and Christina Giliberti would attend the prestigious ceremony to represent Net Assist, which was held at the Burlington Hotel, Dublin on 23rd Oct 07.

The ceremony began promptly and was presented by Marty Whelan, a jovial presenter who succeeded in relaxing the 360 attendees. Award after award was presented, the crowd enjoying themselves immensely. After some comical moments and a great deal of clapping, it was our turn.  When the eagerly anticipated moment arrived, we all held our breath as the winner was announced for Best Marketing Innovator or Innovation. Unfortunately it wasn’t us and although we were all disappointed, we congratulated the winner and settled into the remainder of the presentation.

Overall, the evening was a huge success. The wealth of talent is testament to the hotel industry. Sandra, Edel and Christina mingled with fellow guests, catching up with previous and present trade acquaintances.
